
Guðjón is born in Reykjavík. In highschool he became infatuated with cinematography and spent a great deal of his time skipping school, choosing to make videos instead. At nineteen he got offered a job at Norðurljós, (later 365) broadcasting company
and was soon made head of promotional department.
Gudjon exploded into the advertising industry in 2004 with his debut commercial project, Slow Down. It is the first Icelandic commercial to win a Eurobest Gold award.
It was also shortlisted at Cannes and recevied several other awards in Iceland and the US including a New York Festival bronze.
Guðjón is known for his ambition, determination and drive, all of which he generously applies to his projects.
Gudjon has found a place among the most talented directors in Europe.
And he is only getting started.
